ART FOR ALL

“What is disability?” For us, everyone has the handicap of oneself. For one who could not drive might unable to access some place without any assist. In term of one who are illiterate, a book mean nothing for them just like the blinds. Disability is neither a reason for pity nor alienation since we all have our own limitations at different levels. The audience could be anyone from normal ability of vision, low vision, to vision impairment. The monochrome sculpture is use to eliminate the impact of human eye and invite everyone to explore the art piece in the same manner by touching and smelling. The work invite visitors to complete the work by drew the copper sheet and place it on the wall. We found many interesting perspectives of the different vision ability. How they draw to communicate their understanding of things by using line or dot to create their own perspective and sense of direction.
