On this MoMA-commissioned project, I led the design, fabrication, and installation of the interactive message board for sending love and support messages to redefine the concept of beauty in the salon space at the Ali Forney Center, a drop-in center for homeless LGBT youths.

Iteration 01
The system consists of a kiosk made from a Raspberry Pi. The text will be displayed on an LED screen made from addressable LED strips and stored in a Google Sheet as a database of affirmations.

Iteration 02
Utilizing Raspberry Pi and Matrix bonnet, and a 16x32 RGB Matrix, the system was programmed in CircuitPython.

Iteration 03 (Final)
Utilizing Adafruit Matrix Portal S3 and 26 pieces of 16x32 RGB Matrix chained together. The system is programmed in Circuit Python, linked Google Sheet to Adafruit IO using IFTTT, allowing users to input texts in Google Form to scroll on the display.
